311 Government Services
Everyone knows to call 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency. Many entities are implementing a 3-1-1 calling feature for accessing governmental services that are not life threatening. To coincide with this valuable service, StarGOV has developed a program to conveniently bring in all this same information to an entity's website and/or mobile application.
311 enables the City to do more with less. 311 improves governmental efficiency by replacing processes performed on paper with computerization. The technology is utilized by many departments and related agencies.
311 is able to update the information in its computer systems in nearly real time. Whether the Mayor's Office, other City agencies, or the local news advise people to call, 311 is able to provide Call Takers with relevant information so they can inform the callers and the City can better serve the citizens.
