In our early days, a local governmental association called the Utah League of Cities and Towns was highlighted by Governing Magazine for one of the best websites in the Country. Governing Magazine name ULCT.org as one of the top six governmental websites in the country. In the review, Government Magazine highlighted their cutting edge legislative bill search making it easy for local officials to track and follow legislative issues and bills of significance. At the time, it was the only website in the country to provide such a service.
Ogden City received the prestigious SAVVY Award. The Savvy Awards competition is an annual benchmark for excellence in local government marketing and communications. The Judges for the SAVVY awards were taken aback by the Ogden City website usability and design.
Yahoo Life named Ogden City one of the top three governmental websites in the Country, ahead of much larger cities like New York, Boston, and Seattle).
Government Technology Magazine highlighted Ogden City and their Political Muscle in providing solutions for local government in the information age.
The Center for Digital Government named Ogden City the Number One Digital City in the Country for several years running. Highlights noted by the Center for Digital Government included their parking ticket application providing $83,000 in found money within four months of deployment as well as the Good Landlord Program reducing crime by almost 12% the first year of its inception.
