Quickly get the word out!
Without question, E-mail Lists and Electronic
Newsletters are the quickest and most cost effecient means
of communicating with your constituents. Members of your community
can easily subscribe and unsubscribe to your electronic mailings.
Many mail servers still do not allow HTML e-mails.
That's e-mail that looks like a web page, rather than straight
text. You'll have a great deal of flexibility in setting this
up, as will your list members in receiving your information.
To the left is a sample screen shot, where the person subscribing
does have HTML e-mail.
Advanced Restration
The screen shot to the right shows a sample
advanced registration form. The visitor can specify what content
and which news items they will receive. They will be able
to change their password and other important administrative
functions.
As with all of the components of StarGov you
will be given and great deal of flexibility regarding the
organization and set up of the features in your site. For
example, if you chooses not to have a survey section, that
option would not appear on this advanced registration form.
If you have the feature available on your site, you can enable
it to be part of the advanced registration form.
